At Saaki Argus & Averil Consulting, we are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Visionary to lead our cloud-based initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our company's technology strategy and drive innovation in the BFSI sector.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud computing and a proven track record of successfully leading teams and delivering complex technology solutions in a highly regulated environment. They will be responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure and services, spanning various areas including design and development, deployment and migration, monitoring and optimization, vendor management, developer coordination and DevOps implementation, and data security and compliance.

This role requires strong technical proficiency in cloud computing, preferably with AWS, along with knowledge of relevant industry standards and frameworks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport and credibility with C-level executives and technical stakeholders. AWS certifications are a plus.

We offer a competitive salary range of $180,000 - $250,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be based in our office and will be required to work on-site.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and develop cloud-based infrastructure applications and services that align with the organization's requirements.
  • Select the appropriate cloud platform (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Create architecture diagrams and develop automation scripts.
  • Deploy new applications to the cloud.
  • Migrate existing applications from on-premises infrastructure to the cloud.
  • Ensure seamless migration processes that don't disrupt operations.
  • Monitor the performance of cloud-based systems.
  • Optimize resources for cost-effectiveness and high availability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with cloud service providers and vendors.
  • Evaluate and manage vendor relationships.
  • Work closely with developers, architects, and system administrators.
  • Implement DevOps practices ensuring efficient development, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Ensure data security measures are in place.
  • Comply with industry standards and regulations.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in technical leadership roles within the BFSI sector with a focus on technology strategy, architecture, and innovation.
  • Deep understanding of financial services industry dynamics, including banking operations, insurance processes, regulatory requirements, and risk management.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading teams and delivering complex technology solutions in a highly regulated environment.
