About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Hardware Validation/Applications Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing and executing post-silicon validation tests for Solid-State Drive (SSD) Chipsets during the research and development process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute post-silicon validation tests for SSD Chipsets
  • Develop, port, and execute bare-metal software to validate Storage System-on-Chip (SoC)
  • Pre and post-silicon testing of the bare-metal functionality of the Storage SoC, including performance and power
  • Analyze test results and generate professional validation reports
  • Provide technical support to Field Application Engineers and Test Engineers
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in hardware validation and applications engineering, with experience in Solid-State Drives. The ideal candidate should have prior experience interacting with customers and be proficient in C/C++, Arm Assembly, and 64-bit Arm CPU architecture.

You should also have experience in firmware development under bare-metal/Linux environment and debugging on SoCs for embedded applications. Understanding of SSD controllers is preferred, as well as experience with interfaces such as NAND, PCIe, NVMe, and DDR. Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken, are essential.

The ability to work independently, flexibly, and proactively, as well as being part of a team, is also required.
