Senior Database Administrator

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of database design and data modeling, experience with integrating IRIS with ETL/BI software, and familiarity with release management systems like Azure DevOps.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering Intersystems IRIS/Cache(Ensemble) for optimal performance and reliability, implementing security best practices and access control policies to safeguard sensitive data, ensuring efficient capacity planning and performance tuning to meet business demands, designing and implementing effective backup strategies in IRIS to minimize downtime, and designing and implementing robust disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Database Administration: Administering databases for optimal performance and reliability.
  • Security and Access Control: Implementing security best practices and access control policies.
  • Capacity Planning and Performance Tuning: Ensuring efficient capacity planning and performance tuning.
  • Backup and Recovery Strategies: Designing and implementing effective backup strategies.
  • Disaster Recovery Strategies: Designing and implementing robust disaster recovery strategies.
