At Nat Habit, we are re-imagining the natural personal care space by providing customers a differentiated offering of "fresh" personal care products. We use fresh & whole ingredients such as milk, yogurt, pulp/juices of various fruits & vegetables as well as fresh flowers and leaves to build personal care products for everyday use.

We strive to create disruptive "fresh" and natural personal care products using fresh ingredients, minimal processing and no preservatives.

The team has a strong startup experience and is well funded and backed by top angel investors and tier 1 institutional investors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, formulate, and optimize natural personal care products such as skincare, haircare, and body care items with the intent that the products have a more food like feel and texture.
  • Research and implement innovative, eco-friendly ingredients and technologies.
  • Conduct stability testing, compatibility testing, and performance evaluations to ensure product efficacy and safety.
  • Support product claims substantiation and regulatory documentation as needed.
  • Oversee pilot plant trials, troubleshooting any formulation challenges and optimizing processes for manufacturing efficiency (mid-scale to large-scale production).

Skill sets

  • Master's degree in chemistry/biochemistry/pharmaceutical science/cosmetic/ Ayurveda.
  • Ideally worked in personal care research and development of a company and has formulated own products
  • Experience in formulating natural or Ayurvedic products. Preferable if formulated 100% natural products and has good understanding of natural preservatives, stabilisers, emulsifiers, surfactants, etc.
  • 2+ years of industry experience
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup environment.
