Backend Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled backend developer with expertise in building and managing applications using Java, Hibernate, SQL, JDBC, JMS, JMX, Spring, and Microservices.

  • Develop and maintain high-quality Java-based applications to support the development of scalable and efficient software solutions.
  • Work on security vulnerability remediation and fixes to ensure the integrity and reliability of our systems.
  • Collaborate with QA teams and partner teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Participate in Maintenance and Business-As-Usual (BAU) activities to ensure seamless operations and minimize downtime.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4 years of experience in BPM (preferably jBPM) or similar technologies.
  • Strong technical architecture skills, including experience with cloud/containerization and JavaScript-based UI frameworks like AngularJS or React.
  • A good understanding of application architecture, system design documents, and technology blueprint documents.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and application development life cycles.
  • Prior experience or good knowledge of Kafka, Spring Batch, and database concepts, including query optimization of relational databases.
  • Good knowledge of cloud and cloud-based technologies, including Azure.
  • Experience generating reports and being flexible to work with some overlapping tasks if needed.
