Key Role: Senior Financial Director

Job Overview:

The company seeks a seasoned Senior Financial Director to oversee the entire accounts and finance function, ensuring timely financial reporting, statutory compliance, effective cash flow management, and strategic financial planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy & Planning:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to drive business growth and optimize profitability.
    • Design and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for financial health and operating efficiency.
  • Accounts & Reporting:
    • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Manage day-to-day accounting operations and oversee the performance of the accounting team.
  • Compliance & Audit:
    • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
    • Liaise with external auditors and ensure smooth audit processes.
  • Treasury Management:
    • Effectively manage cash flows, banking relationships, and fund utilization to optimize working capital.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with banks and other financial institutions for funding and project financing.
  • Cost Control & Analysis:
    • Implement effective cost accounting systems and monitor production-related costs to optimize resource allocation.
    • Develop and track KPIs for operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting skill development and high performance.
    • Foster a culture of integrity, continuous improvement, and strong internal controls.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • Experience: 8-15 years post-CA qualification experience in Accounts & Finance, with at least 5 years in leadership roles in manufacturing.
  • Expertise in financial reporting, statutory compliance, cost control, and treasury management.
  • Proven track record in handling audits, liaising with banks, and managing working capital.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
