Job Description

Overview:

BHTC is seeking a skilled Automotive Software Validation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for qualifying and improving products with embedded software to prevent future problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Validate and verify customer requirements by performing testing, reducing costs, and improving component quality.
  • Support existing and future electronic components projects in coordination with BHTC.
  • Capture and analyze test results, interpreting and documenting findings.
  • Develop test cases and sequences according to given test specifications.
  • Present test results to internal and external customers, suggesting improvements and documentation.
  • Automate test cases using dSpace tools.
  • Execute automated tests using Hardware-in-Loop setup.
  • Capture, check, and analyze test results based on internal test specifications.
  • Document test results according to BHTC guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Electronics & Telecommunication or Automotive.
  • Good understanding of CAN, LIN protocol, J1939, GMLAN, etc.
  • Knowledge of ECUs inside vehicles and related electronics.
  • Two to five years experience in Automotive embedded software development or testing/validation.
  • Knowledge in SW system tests, test automation, test case writing, test evaluation, requirement analysis, and debugging.
  • Experience with DOORS, MKS, and CAPL.
  • Strong desire to learn new software test tools as per project need.
