Medical Device Servicing Specialist

We are seeking an experienced medical device servicing specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our medical equipment.

About the Role

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing medical device turnaround process at our facility, including disinfection, cleaning, inspection, and maintenance.
  • You will troubleshoot electronics issues, perform minor repairs, and coordinate with R&D team for advanced repairs or escalations.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for device pickups and installations, deployments, and provide basic usage training to nursing staff/caregivers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Device Turnaround & Maintenance
    • Perform routine quality control checks and maintain calibration logs.
    • Conduct software/firmware updates as required.
  • Troubleshooting & Basic Repairs
    • Diagnose and repair electronic control unit issues.
    • Coordinate with R&D team for complex repairs or escalations.
  • Device Deployment Support
    • Deploy new devices/rental devices as per requirement.
    • Provide basic usage training to nursing staff/caregivers when deploying devices.
  • Documentation & Reporting
    • Maintain service logs, device usage hours, complaints, and interventions.
    • Prepare monthly reports for operations and product teams.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma/ITI in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
  • 1-3 years of experience in servicing medical equipment (e.g., infusion pumps, suction machines, ventilators, patient monitors).
  • Hands-on skills in basic electronics troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
