Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead a high-performing engineering organization, driving execution, innovation, and learning.
  • Oversee the development of products that delight customers, ensuring the health of the code base through continuous refactoring and management of technical debt.
  • Champion a culture that fosters collaboration, continuous improvement, and agile delivery, with expertise in DevOps, TDD/BDD, and automated testing.
  • Stay at the forefront of technology trends, evaluating, prototyping, and introducing new tools and strategies to drive team success.
  • Provide coaching and guidance in software best practices, test automation, and process improvement, aiming to reduce the cost of change for our products and services.
  • Prioritize user-centric design and collaborate closely with product management, sales, operations, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • 12+ years of combined software development and management experience across multiple languages and frameworks or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of hands-on software development or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years managing software organizations over 25 people or equivalent experience.
  • A proven track record of building and leading global engineering teams, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and drive growth in established products, delivering solutions used by millions of users.
  • Customer obsession and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, execution-driven environments.
