Job Title: Automation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to fill a challenging role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation, commissioning, and process controls.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement automation solutions for industrial processes
  • Commission and integrate automation systems with existing infrastructure
  • Design and engineer control panels, SCADA systems, and HMI interfaces
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve automation-related issues
  • Conduct site visits and perform hands-on field work as needed

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in automation engineering
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming, including Ladder Logic and Function Block Diagrams
  • Experience with PID programming, loop tuning, and communication protocols (Modbus, CC-Link, RS-232, Ethernet TCP/IP, Wireless, IoT)
  • Familiarity with MQTT protocol and platforms such as Mitsubishi, Siemens, and Schneider
  • Ability to prepare and review IO lists, design and engineer control panels, and develop SCADA/HMI systems
  • Knowledge of instrumentation and electrical systems, including thermocouples, pressure and level transmitters/switches, proximity sensors, and modulating valves

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with safety systems (SIL, interlocks)
  • Site commissioning experience and ability to perform panel wiring and termination
  • Experience with multi-site execution and vendor coordination/procurement knowledge
  • Hands-on experience with industrial automation projects and exposure to remote diagnostics/cloud integration
