Senior Verbal Mentor

Job Description:

This role involves developing and delivering high-quality training sessions in verbal reasoning, English communication, and soft skills for students preparing for competitive exams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong command of English grammar, vocabulary, and pedagogy, as well as excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities include designing engaging learning content, mock tests, and assignments to cater to diverse student needs, assessing student performance, providing personalized feedback, and driving measurable improvement in learning outcomes.

The Senior Verbal Mentor will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance course materials, delivery methods, and online learning environments.

Mentorship is a key aspect of this role, with the candidate responsible for mentoring students on test-taking strategies, grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and written communication.

In addition, the Senior Verbal Mentor will contribute to workshops, webinars, and curriculum design for continuous program improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Master's degree in Applied Linguistics, English, or Communication (MA in Applied Linguistics preferred).
  • At least 3 years of experience in English/verbal training for exams like GMAT, CAT, GRE, SAT, etc.
  • Experience in content writing and editing for academic or corporate purposes.
  • Strong command of English grammar, vocabulary, and pedagogy.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
