The Role of Compliance Officer
">Overview :
We are seeking a skilled Compliance Officer to join our team.
This role involves ensuring effective compliance monitoring across residential child care homes in the UK. The Compliance Officer will conduct daily and weekly audits relating to child locations, staff records, and operational compliance.
Liaising closely with Registered Managers and senior management teams, the Compliance Officer will ensure accurate reporting and adherence to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities :
• Conduct daily child location audits to ensure accurate records and safeguarding practices.
• Review and check quality reports to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Examine and verify documentation, maintain utility certificates, and ensure all documents are accurate and updated in company systems.
• Maintain centralised audit trackers and ensure timely updates.
• Identify gaps, trends, or non-compliance issues and escalate where necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for reporting, team coordination, and regulatory liaison.
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail in reviewing reports and documents.
• Proficiency in digital documentation tools, spreadsheets, and communication platforms.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
