Cost Management Lead

As a senior manager of financial control, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of real estate. Your expertise will be instrumental in implementing cost management systems and procedures to track budgets, commitments, expenditures, and forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Steer projects from pre-design phase to completion, working closely with the project lead.
  • Assemble and lead project teams, monitoring their performance and bringing out the best in every team member.
  • Create organizational structures, project objectives, and working procedures for teams.
  • Set up clear project cost plans and allocate sufficient budget to achieve optimal results and meet company targets.
  • Attend project meetings, develop monthly reports, and carry out contract administration.
  • Oversee negotiations, analyses, and promotions of quality control systems.

You will also be responsible for fully understanding, collecting, and delivering client requirements. The CC team will depend on you to help schedule or plan establishment, value engineer, and design change management. Additionally, you will assist in all related procurement and VO management, support the construction manager in installation, site inspection, and contractor management, prepare BOQs, quantity surveys, and cost analysis for each line item in the BOQ as required for the project.

Requirements:
  • A seasoned expert with high-level management skills and a degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Established experience in profit planning, business development, networking, and marketing.
  • An effective communicator with strong written and spoken English skills.
  • Able to create an environment where team members are encouraged to contribute, manage staff to achieve enthusiastic and effective contribution to the project, and actively search for improvement opportunities.
