Senior Wordpress Developer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing, customizing and maintaining high-performance WordPress solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building dynamic and responsive websites using PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript/jQuery. They will also integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways and external services to deliver robust and scalable web applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Build dynamic and responsive websites using PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways and external services.
  • Optimize website performance for speed, SEO and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure robust, secure and high-quality applications.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have:

  • At least 3-4 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
  • Expertise in custom theme and plugin development.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP and familiarity with frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter.
  • Solid understanding of MySQL database design, optimization and integration.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and Bootstrap.
  • Experience integrating REST APIs and other third-party services.
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows in distributed teams.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, security standards and website performance optimization.
