Database Management and Reporting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Database Management and Reporting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the financial reporting and accounting team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our SQL/MS-Access databases to ensure timely and accurate financial close processes.

  • Design, build, and manage complex databases using MS Access and SQL to support financial close processes.
  • Develop and implement automated solutions in SQL, VBA, and Excel to streamline data management and reporting tasks.
  • Extract, transform, and load large datasets using SQL, QlikView, and MS Access to provide insights for business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and other visualizations to communicate financial information effectively.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and audits on financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation on all database systems, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and minimize downtime.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • Relevant experience in IT, specifically in database management and reporting.
  • Expertise in MS Access, SQL, VBA, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
