Microfinance Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Microfinance Specialist to join our team.

• To ensure the achievement of disbursement targets with minimum delinquency, you will need to develop and implement effective strategies for loan management.
• You will identify Joint Liability Groups & disbursed loans that suit our target customers and geographies, ensuring that we reach our business growth goals.
• By developing and managing teams across assigned territories, you will enable deeper market penetration and reach, expanding our operational areas.
• You will assess potential client bases and product acceptability in new regions, areas, and opportunities for geographical expansion.
• Your primary responsibility will be to manage disbursements, repayments, and delinquencies, achieving daily/weekly collections targets.
• Maintaining close follow-ups on disbursed loans, especially those not paying on time, is crucial.
• You will undertake regular field visits, centre meetings, and loan applicants to ensure that our portfolio quality remains high.
• Maintaining portfolio quality by tracking and controlling Normal dues, Nonstarters, Delinquency, and Frauds is essential.
• Your role involves building strong client relationships both internally and externally and creating a strong brand identity with potential customers.
• Regular weekly/daily meetings and centre visits are necessary to stay connected with our clients.
• A basic understanding of Microfinance business and JLG model working would be preferred.

• Strong relationship management and business sourcing skills are necessary.
• You must have a flair for sales and understand critical attributes of customer service.
