Ruby Backend Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Backend Software Engineer to join our team.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems that power our applications.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience and a strong background in Ruby on Rails.

You should have a solid understanding of API development, test-driven development, and Agile workflows, as well as a focus on writing secure, scalable code.

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs using Ruby on Rails (Rails 7.0+).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in sprint planning, feasibility studies, and peer code reviews.
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code in Ruby (3.1+), following TDD principles.
  • Focusing on system performance, maintainability, scalability, and security.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our software development lifecycle and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug production issues, delivering timely resolutions.
