Automotive Closures Design Engineer

Overview:
The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in closures design and development at automobile OEMs, with a strong background in mechanical engineering. They should be proficient in CATIA and PLM software's like Teamcenter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop closure systems for front doors, rear doors, tailgates, engine hoods, and fender systems.
- Develop and execute projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of closure systems into overall vehicle architecture.
- Perform tolerance stack up and GD&T analysis to optimize closure system performance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- B.E (Mechanical/Automobile) degree with 4-6 years of experience.
- Proven experience in closures design and development at automobile OEMs.
- Hands-on experience with CATIA and PLM software's like Teamcenter.
- Strong knowledge of engineering and system documents like DFMEA, DVP, DFA, etc.
- Good technical knowledge of automotive sheet metal parts, manufacturing, and assembly processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
