Job Title: Advanced Electromechanical Systems Designer

  • We are seeking a highly skilled designer with expertise in electromechanical systems to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of custom-built special purpose motors, including IEC frames, NEMA frames 1ph, 3ph electrical motors, and specialized application motors.
  • Derive motor technical specification based on end application and submit it to customer marketing for review.
  • Estimate project costing, tooling investments, testing and approval costing, and manpower requirement data for new design projects.
  • Conduct value engineering of electric motor designs to identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining or improving performance.
  • Redesign motors considering new materials, new technology, and alternative manufacturing methods to reduce cost with similar or better motor robustness and performance.
  • Communicate with domestic and overseas customers, suppliers related to design projects, and maintain project-related updates through regular reporting.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and electronic design teams, to ensure all customer requirements are met.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience in electromechanical systems design.
  • Knowledge of electric motors, construction, material standards, component, and motor manufacturing processes.
  • Proven expertise and hands-on experience of electric motor design, GD T, and design tools with analytical skills.
  • Experience in AutoCAD, Creo parametric, Solid works 2D and 3D software.
