Automation Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced Automation Specialist to join our team. As an Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of automation and control systems in water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation engineering and experience with PLCs, RTUs, HMIs, and field instrumentation. They should also have excellent troubleshooting skills and be able to develop, test, and implement automation logic modifications as needed.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the uptime and reliability of automation and control systems supporting operational and maintenance activities.
  • Perform regular system checks, calibration, and preventive maintenance of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), remote terminal units (RTUs), human machine interfaces (HMIs), and field instrumentation.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and coordinate for resolution.
  • Develop, test, and implement automation logic modifications as per operational needs.
  • Monitor and optimize control strategies for energy efficiency and process performance.
