Lead Data Scientist Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Scientist to join our team. The successful candidate will leverage advanced data analytics and AI techniques to extract insights, build predictive models, and develop innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Data analysis, modeling, evaluation, and deployment of solutions – following best practices and industry methodologies.
  2. Understanding of optimization methodologies including linear/integer/nonlinear programming and heuristics for finding the best solution to complex business problems.
  3. Experience with business requirements gathering, transforming them into technical plans, data processing, feature engineering, hypothesis testing, and model deployment.
  4. Proactive approach to improving existing pipelines, suggesting new ideas, and implementing process improvements.
  5. Creation and maintenance of high-quality standards to ensure competency excellence.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in data science, operations research, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in optimization methodologies, including use of various optimization libraries.
  • Advanced Python coding skills, including object-oriented programming concepts, machine learning libraries, and basic working knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience working in cloud technologies, preferably MS Azure or GCP.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and theory behind various algorithms.
  • Experience in CRISP-DM projects delivery and Agile project management (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
