Job Title: AWS Cloud Solutions Architect.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced cloud architect with deep expertise in designing, deploying, and managing scalable, resilient cloud architectures using AWS services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and deploy cloud-native solutions using ECS, Lambda, and API Gateway, while utilizing IaC tools like CloudFormation or Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning.
• Develop and fine-tune cluster placement strategies for optimized performance and cost-efficiency.
• Design scalable serverless applications with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and API Gateway, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
• Build real-time streaming architectures with Amazon Kinesis to support low-latency data processing and analytics.
• Implement secure authorization using AWS Cognito and IAM and integrate API Gateway with backend servers and services.
• Leverage AWS SSM for automating deployment, managing configurations, and patching, including document creation and automation.
• Design and manage Service Control Policies within AWS Organizations to enforce security and governance in a multi-account environment.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines and apply deployment strategies to automate and streamline infrastructure provisioning using IaC.
• Develop and implement robust disaster recovery strategies, ensuring high availability and reliability through backup, recovery, and business continuity plans.
• Deep understanding of log management and troubleshooting practices, including monitoring, collecting, and analyzing logs from various AWS services.
• Implement and manage log streaming to Splunk, creating dashboards for real-time log analysis, monitoring, and alerting.
• Continuously monitor and optimize AWS infrastructure for improved performance and cost management.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and deploying cloud solutions at scale.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code with tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
• Extensive hands-on experience with ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, SSM, Kinesis, Cognito, IAM, and other core AWS services.
• Strong experience in modern deployment strategies like blue-green, rolling, and canary deployments, along with CI/CD tools.
• Solid knowledge of cloud security practices and governance, including implementing cloud organizations and SCPs.
• Strong understanding of disaster recovery strategies, backup solutions, high availability, and business continuity within cloud environments.
• Expertise in log management, troubleshooting, and experience with streaming logs to tools like Splunk and building dashboards for log analysis.
• Proficiency in automation scripting (Python, Bash, etc.) for automating cloud processes and infrastructure management.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional) or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer is preferred.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud architectures.
• Experience in implementing cybersecurity controls (SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST frameworks).
