Job Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Team Lead to join our organization.

This is an in-depth technical role with 80% technical and 20% managerial capabilities. You will be responsible for architecting, designing, installing, maintaining, and managing the equipment needed to provide Cloud Network Infrastructure, including physical and SDN network framework.

  • Ensure high availability, flexibility, and network performance while maintaining Service Level Agreements.
  • Maintain, audit, review, and update infrastructure documentation.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members on day-to-day changes, incidents, and requests.
  • Oversee a team of Network Engineers, providing technical expertise and guidance, and evaluate team member performance.
  • Proactively monitor and analyze key performance and capacity metrics to assess risks and business impact.
  • Prepare and deliver solution presentations or technical proposals related to cloud network infrastructure.
  • Manage and/or deliver technical validation activities, including Proof of Concept.
Key Requirements

This role requires a strong background in datacenter networking, WAN & Routing technologies, Security technologies, Switching, and QoS.

  • At least 6-8 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining DataCenter networks, L2/L3 technologies, Cisco/Juniper routers, switches, and wireless, Cisco/Juniper/Fortigate firewalls, Load balancer etc.
  • Fundamentals and understanding of WAN & Routing technologies (Leased lines, GRE VPNs, IPSEC based VPNs, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VRRP/HSRP, EVPN etc.), Security technologies (Firewalls, ACLs, NAT, IPS, IDS, RADIUS, TACACS+, IAS, VPN technologies), Switching (VLANs, VXLAN LACP, EtherChannel, 802.3ad, VTP, 802.1q), and QoS.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring protocols and tools (SNMP, NetFlow, Zabbix, PRTG etc.) and good knowledge of SDN Technologies, preferably hands-on experience on any one of the SDN providers – VMWare NSX, Juniper Contrail/Tungsten, Arista, Cisco etc.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly narrow down and resolve problems, as well as being a highly motivated individual who is a self-starter and can demonstrate effective project management and completion of complex network tasks with little guidance.
  • Motivated learner – ability to quickly learn new technologies and keep networking skills current with emerging technologies, and experience in handling a team of minimum 4 people in the above role.
