Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive Business Development Associate with 3-6 years of experience to drive client acquisition in the US financial services sector.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for outbound prospecting, managing a sales pipeline, and nurturing leads to offer services such as accounting, bookkeeping, auditing, and taxation.
The successful candidate must have a deep understanding of core accounting principles and a proven ability to use a consultative sales approach to build relationships and close new client deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Prospect and Lead Generation: Identify potential clients and generate leads through research, networking, and outreach.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline from initial contact to closing deals, ensuring timely follow-up and communication with clients.
- Consultative Sales Approach: Build strong relationships with clients by providing expert advice on accounting, bookkeeping, auditing, and taxation services.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the US financial services sector.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry developments, including changes in laws, regulations, and best practices.
Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience in business development, sales, or a client-facing role within the financial services sector.
- Expertise in client prospecting, lead generation, and sales pipeline management for professional services.
- Deep understanding of core accounting principles, including U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and common tax compliance and auditing standards preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; proactive and results-driven.
Desired Skills
- Hands-on experience in outbound prospecting, managing a sales pipeline, and providing initial financial consultations to potential clients.
- Ability to understand and apply consultative sales methodologies to identify client needs and position financial services as a strategic advantage.
