Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to contribute expertise in software testing and quality assurance.

Your Mission:

  • Led test teams, monitored progress for release candidates and outstanding defects during each phase of the development cycle.
  • Defined test cases, test matrices, configuration test questionnaires and wrote test scripts from business requirements documentation to confirm that systems meet business objectives.
  • Determined testing strategies and guided less experienced team members.
  • Communicated potential issues and outstanding problems to project and quality assurance personnel.
  • Conducted quality control checks on software release candidates, determined final issue resolution status and authorized progression to next testing phase.
  • Compiled final project documentation and prepared it for client delivery.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in business, mathematics, engineering, management information systems or computer science.
  • At least six years of software testing and quality assurance experience.
  • Experience working with project management methodology and related planning tools.
  • Leadership experience in small- to mid-sized teams of testers, coordinating work against schedules and providing guidance as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact and present findings to team members, customers, management and support personnel.
  • Ability to complete assigned responsibilities independently on time with moderate technical support.

Work Environment:

Office environment may require evening or weekend work.
