We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architectural Draftsperson to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in all phases of architectural documentation and a proven track record of producing high-quality construction drawings for complex, large-scale projects.

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive architectural drawings and details for high-rise building projects from concept through to construction administration. They will also collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure drawings are accurate, coordinated, and meet all project requirements and building codes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed architectural drawings and details for high-rise building projects from concept to completion.
  • Collaborate effectively with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure accuracy, coordination, and compliance with project requirements and building codes.
  • Produce and manage detailed drawing sets using AutoCAD, adhering to industry standards and company protocols.
  • Review and redline drawings, providing constructive feedback to junior drafting staff to maintain quality and consistency.
  • Assist in the preparation of project specifications reports and other technical documents.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Draftsperson, with a strong focus on high-rise architectural projects.
  • Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, with a demonstrated ability to create precise and detailed architectural drawings.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and materials relevant to high-rise construction.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in other design software such as SketchUp, Revit, or Rhino is an advantage.
