Software Application Developer Role

Our organization seeks a skilled software application developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, modifying, debugging and/or maintaining software code according to functional, non-functional and technical design specifications.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve goals and provide technical support during solution design for new requirements.

In this role, you will investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code, provide fixes and workarounds, and review changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions.

Additionally, you will participate in peer code reviews, provide comments and suggestions, and collaborate with the team to improve code quality and efficiency.

As a software application developer, you will assume technical accountability for your specific work products within an application and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that meet business needs.

We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about software development and has a strong background in programming languages and software engineering principles.

Requirements:

  • • Bachelor's degree in Science/IT/Computer Science or equivalent
  • • Professional & Relevant Experience: 3-6 years on Mainframe technologies like Assembler, COBOL, JCL
  • • Good to have - IMS DC
  • • Maintenance, Support & Development in Mainframe Technologies
  • • Shift Working (1-10 or 3-12, but flexibility as per business need)
  • • Provide production support (resolve job abends) for customer applications for any issue
