This role is responsible for leading complex digital forensic investigations across various environments, including endpoints, servers, cloud, and mobile devices. The position requires technical leadership skills to direct incident response engagements for ransomware, APTs, insider threats, and large-scale breaches.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct advanced malware analysis, reverse engineering, and threat hunting to identify attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
- Oversee data acquisition, recovery, and analysis from various sources, including HDD, SSD, mobile devices, and encrypted/corrupted media.
- Deliver detailed forensic reports with technical accuracy and executive summaries.
- Lead, mentor, and upskill junior and mid-level digital forensics incident response analysts.
- Assign and track tasks across the team, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Develop and maintain DFIR playbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices for the team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital forensics, incident response, and threat analysis, as well as proficiency in forensic and IR tools. They should also possess expertise in log analysis, malware reverse engineering, and threat hunting, and have proven ability to lead teams and manage incident response cases end-to-end.
