Financial Operations Manager

About the Position
This is a full-time on-site role located in New Delhi.
As Senior Manager - Accounts & Finance, you will oversee all accounting and financial operations within the company.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and ensure the adequacy of accounting and financial control systems.
- Provide financial analysis to support the company's strategic initiatives.
- Manage all day-to-day accounting functions.
- Ensure compliance with all tax and regulatory requirements.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Professional accounting qualification, preferably a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Minimum of 10 years of accounting and financial reporting experience, with at least 4-5 years of experience at a senior management level.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices, financial planning, taxation, and financial analysis.
- Experience in managing and leading a team.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgement, multitask, and prioritise competing demands.
- Ability to balance theoretical and practical solution implementation.
- Familiarity with FEMA operations to coordinate remittances with Banks.
- Familiarity with demat operations for off-market transfer of shares within group holdings.
- High level of proficiency in using Tally ERP for bookkeeping.
- Ability to work with external auditors to close financial statements within predetermined timelines.
- Oversee taxation returns and other compliance filings with the assistance of an external adviser.
- Prepare MIS reports as required.
