Cloud Architect Position

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to join our team. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced cloud architectures in continuous alignment with leading cloud providers such as AWS and Google.

You will also be responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure, as well as supporting the continuous evolution of our client's infrastructure as code approach.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Docker, Linux systems management, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools. They will also have solid experience with programming/scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, Bash, GO, Java, Node.js, and PHP.

Additionally, the candidate should have experience with application and system monitoring tools, web servers, database systems, caching, and queues.

They will also be working in a continuous integration/deploy environment and will have experience with automation in the context of microservice/SOA architecture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience with Docker
  • Experience with Linux systems management
  • Proven experience in Kubernetes
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, BitBucket or Stash
  • Experience with CI and CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo or similar)
  • Solid Experience with at least a programming/scripting language (Python, Ruby, Bash, GO, Java, Node.js, PHP)
  • Experience with application and system monitoring tools (such as Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, ElasticSearch, Kibana)
  • Experience in the configuration, management and troubleshooting of web servers (Apache, NGINX), database systems (SQL and NoSQL), caching (Cassandra, Redis, Memcache or others) and queues (RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ or similar)
  • Experience working as a DevSecOps or Cloud Engineer in an agile and fast-paced environment
  • Experience in a continuous integration/deploy environment
  • Experience with AWS
