Senior Backend Developer

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Backend Developer to lead our team's efforts in building high-quality, scalable software systems.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex backend applications using PHP and Python. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver products that meet customer needs and expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of core PHP and object-oriented programming principles
  • Experience working with CodeIgniter (CI 1 & 4) and familiarity with both legacy and modern versions
  • Proficiency in Python programming language for developing scalable and efficient applications
  • Hands-on experience in designing, optimizing, and managing MySQL databases
  • Solid knowledge of JavaScript for client-side functionality and integration with backend services
  • Experience in performing peer code reviews and ensuring code quality, readability, and adherence to best practices
  • Familiarity with writing and maintaining unit tests and integrating testing into the CI/CD pipeline
  • Proficient with Git for version control, branching, and collaborative development
