Job Overview

This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives, and managing staff. Key responsibilities include planning and executing daily production schedules, supervising production staff, and monitoring quality management systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement daily production plans to meet operational targets.
  • Motivate and support production team members; address conflicts and encourage professional growth.
  • Ensure the effective operation of quality management systems, including change control, deviations, CAPA, and event investigations.
  • Review and prepare production-related documents, such as SOPs, BMRs, and BPRs.
  • Deliver training programs and evaluations on cGMP and SOPs as per schedule or training needs.
  • Troubleshoot production issues promptly to prevent operational delays.
  • Evaluate processes and documentation for compliance with SOPs, protocols, and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of batch production, equipment maintenance, and quality performance metrics.
  • Analyze production data to generate reports on efficiency, quality, and performance.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues efficiently.
  • Oversee document control processes to ensure integrity and accessibility of quality records.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in pharmacy, life sciences, biotechnology, or a related field.
  • A minimum 6–10 years of experience in sterile/aseptic or injectable manufacturing is required.
  • Proven expertise in QMS practices and compliance-driven production environments.
  • Familiarity with cGMP, regulatory audits, and process validations.
  • Proficiency in handling process equipment such as autoclaves, DHS systems, PFS filling machines, mixing vessels, and packing lines.
  • Understanding of utility systems, including diesel generators, HT panels, and power transformers.
Key Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of QMS tools (Deviation, CAPA, Change Control, etc.).
  • Able to review and draft GMP documentation.
  • Experience in equipment troubleshooting and maintenance coordination.
  • Good understanding of production equipment and utility systems.
  • Able to manage and optimize manpower deployment effectively.
  • Skilled in generating performance and compliance reports.
