Job Title:

A highly skilled Sr. QA Automation Engineer is required to excel in translating test cases into automation scripts using C# for GUI and API tests, adhering to coding standards and guidelines defined for automation.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing manual testing of web-based applications and services in a client-server environment, identifying issues and debugging web or server errors.

Responsibilities include conducting functional, database, sanity, end-to-end integration, and regression testing independently, adhering to SCRUM guidelines.

Additional responsibilities include reviewing code, fixing identified issues, performing root cause analysis, submitting and tracking defects, escalating blocking issues, and following up on deviations from SOPs.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and service transition life cycle (STLC) processes.

Technical skills required include proficiency in automation testing, good experience with C#, expertise in testing web services and REST APIs, hand-on experience with tools like Fiddler, SOAP UI, POSTMAN, Protractor, and Playwright.

This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

  • Translate test cases to automation script using C# for GUI/API tests
  • Adhere to coding standard and guidelines defined for automation
  • Perform manual testing of web-based applications and services in a client-server environment
  • Identify and debug web or server errors
  • Conduct functional, database, sanity, end-to-end integration, and regression testing
  • Review code and fix identified issues
  • Perform root cause analysis of script failures/logged Bugs
  • Submit and track automation identified defects
  • Escalate and follow-up on blocking issues and deviations from SOPs
