Job Title: Culinary Professional

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our culinary team. As a key member, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to menu specifications and company recipes.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all basic food items for the menu as directed by your supervisor.
  • Must possess advanced knife handling skills.
  • Must be able to work in any section of a kitchen environment.
  • Must have a good understanding of culinary terms and concepts.
  • Must be able to read, understand, follow, and prepare company recipes.
  • Must be proficient in efficiently completing tasks and working productively.
  • Always maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with public health standards.
  • Reports for duty at assigned times and follows instructions from supervisors.

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in an upscale hotel or cruise ship environment with at least 2 years as a culinary professional.
  • A culinary degree is required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and computer software skills are also required.

Internal Candidate Requirements:

Completion of at least one contract as Commis Cook with a performance rating of satisfactory or above, along with demonstrated leadership skills.
