Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Game Economy Specialist to design and implement engaging social casino gaming experiences for players worldwide.

The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting compelling economy models, managing in-game currencies, and ensuring a fair and enjoyable experience for players.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implementation: Develop and implement economy models that provide a rich and rewarding experience for players.
  • Currency and Progression Management: Create and balance in-app currencies, progression curves, reward structures, and monetization systems to ensure player satisfaction and performance.
  • Data Analysis: Use data modeling and player segmentation to forecast behavioral trends and evaluate the impact of new features on player satisfaction and performance.
  • Iterative Design: Continuously iterate on game economy design based on KPI analysis to enhance player satisfaction and performance.
  • Livestream Events: Plan and design economy-driven live events and promotions that drive engagement and revenue.
  • A/B Testing: Conduct and analyze A/B tests for pricing strategies, rewards, and progression tuning to optimize key KPIs related to monetization, engagement, and retention.
  • Documentation and Collaboration: Prepare detailed economy specifications, balancing sheets, and documentation for cross-functional teams and collaborate with them as they implement it.
  • Economic Balance and Fairness: Ensure consistent economic balance and fairness across platforms to maintain a positive player experience.

Desired Profile:

  • 5+ years of experience in game economy design, preferably in Social Casino games.
  • Deep understanding of free-to-play economy design, monetization strategies, and player psychology.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets or other statistical tools for analytical modeling.
  • Experience working closely with developers, product managers, and analysts.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Passion for gaming and a good understanding of the gaming industry.
  • Master's degree in Math, Statistics, Economics, or Engineering.
