Software Quality Assurance Specialist

 

Job Description:

The Software Quality Assurance Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of software products. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding the development process, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the creation of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities include ensuring the quality of software products through thorough testing and validation, innovating and automating test cases using CI/CD and cross-browser enablement, designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using industry-standard testing tools and frameworks, implementing and maintaining automation frameworks, coordinating with the QA lead on testing activities for given releases, developing test plans and test cases on multiple projects of varying sizes, conducting thorough manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify defects and ensure product functionality meets specifications, maintaining QA documentation and tracking defects, and working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution of defects.

 

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in a software development environment. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes is essential, as well as proficiency in Java/C# programming languages. Experience testing RESTful web services and APIs, GUI-driven testing and programmatic testing, and Continuous Integration systems like Azure DevOps is highly desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
