Senior Magento E-Commerce Developer

We are looking for a skilled E-Commerce specialist to join our team at Herijobs. As a Magento developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining E-Commerce websites for our clients. Your key tasks will include setting up Magento 1x and 2x sites, building custom modules and extensions, testing the performance of each site, and maintaining security and feature updates after the installation is complete.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent knowledge of object-oriented programming, hold certifications for Java and Magento development, and be able to project manage. A high-level Magento developer can build and maintain a user-friendly E-Commerce platform that meets the needs of the client.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with the design team to discuss client needs and project requirements.
  • Build and configure Magento 1x and 2x E-Commerce websites.
  • Coding of Magento templates and customization.
  • Developing Magento modules in PHP using best practices.
  • Designing themes and interfaces for E-Commerce websites.
  • Setting performance tasks and goals for E-Commerce websites.
  • Troubleshooting integration issues and website performance.
  • Updating website features and security patches.
  • Maintaining E-Commerce websites and ensuring they are secure and up-to-date.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of Magento, JavaScript, HTML, PHP, CSS, and MySQL.
  • Experience with complete E-Commerce lifecycle development.
  • Understanding of modern UI/UX trends.
  • Knowledge of Google Tag Manager, SEO, Google Analytics, PPC, and A/B Testing.
  • Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to project-manage.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
