The O&M Executive is responsible for overseeing and managing the daytoday operations and maintenance activities of solar installations. This includes coordinating with clients ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards managing procurement and material logistics and ensuring timely and efficient maintenance activities. The role requires strong organizational communication and technical skills. Key Responsibilities:
  • Report Approvals and Requests:
  • Approve cleaning reports and advance requests (1st tier) ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Client Escalations:
  • Handle secondlevel escalations with clients for all sites ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution of issues.
  • Team Coordination and Tracking:
  • Track ticket updates from the team within 48 hours ensuring timely response and resolution.
  • Check that all employees raise Joint Meter Readings (JMR) on time and approve them accordingly.
  • Client and Compliance Coordination:
  • Coordinate with clients on paperwork or permit letters ensuring all necessary documentation is in place.
  • Oversee site team compliance with customer site requirements and safety standards.
  • Material Management:
  • Raise material requirements and follow up with procurement for dispatch or local purchase.
  • Approve local purchases of materials as per the last records and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Meeting Coordination:
  • Arrange meetings between departments or customers as needed ensuring the participation of all necessary members.
  • Vendor and Team Management:
  • Search for new vendors or team members based on new project demands.
  • Manage vendors for installation & commissioning (I&C) and IV graph activities.
  • Thermography and OEM Coordination:
  • Oversee thermography activities during peak summers to ensure equipment is functioning optimally.
  • Coordinate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) at the second level; the first level of coordination will be handled by engineers.
  • Payment and Procurement Followup:
  • Follow up on payments from accounts/customers for raised POs and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain a tools tracker and purchase tracker ensuring all tools and materials are accounted for.
  • Site Maintenance and Configuration:
  • Overlook the cleaning tracker and ensure cleaning reports are shared on time by engineers.
  • Handle site configuration when site engineers are not available ensuring continuous operation.
  • Billing and Documentation:
  • Check and sign all vendor bills as the first level of escalation.
  • Upload bills to Adobe and manage approvals for signatures and payments.
  • Monitoring and Compliance:
  • Monitor target generation and follow up to ensure performance meets expectations.
  • Ensure HSE compliance and follow up on safety standards and protocols.
Follow up on SOP adherence and ensure operational procedures are followed. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations and maintenance preferably in the solar industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and client management abilities.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software tools.
  • Knowledge of HSE standards and compliance requirements.
