Apply today and be part of something extraordinaryRole: Cloud Security EngineerLocation: Bangalore/HyderabadExperience: 5 to 8 YearsWork Mode: HybridKey Responsibilities· Design and implement security architectures for Azure cloud environments, with support for multi-cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) as needed.· Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and guardrails using tools such as Azure Policy, Azure Blueprints, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and custom security controls.· Collaborate with Cloud Engineering and DevOps teams to embed security-by-design principles into infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, ARM, Bicep) and CI/CD pipelines.· Monitor and respond to security events, vulnerabilities, and threats within the cloud infrastructure using SIEM, cloud-native monitoring tools, and third-party platforms.· Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews for new cloud services and architectures.· Ensure proper implementation of identity and access management (IAM), privileged access management (PAM), and Zero Trust principles across all cloud environments.· Support security audits and compliance initiatives (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST), providing evidence and remediation for cloud-based controls.· Automate security operations where possible to increase responsiveness and reduce manual effort.· Stay informed of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices related to cloud security, and proactively recommend improvements.Required Qualifications· 5+ years of experience in information security, cloud engineering, or DevSecOps roles.· Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure security technologies and architecture.· Working knowledge of security best practices across public cloud spaces.· Proficiency with scripting and automation using tools like PowerShell, Python, or Bash.· Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and automation frameworks (e.g., Terraform, ARM, Bicep).· Deep understanding of cloud networking, identity management, encryption, logging, and monitoring.· Experience implementing or managing SIEM, CSPM, or XDR tools.· Knowledge of security frameworks such as CIS Benchmarks, NIST, or MITRE ATT&CK.· Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.Preferred Qualifications· Relevant certifications such as AZ-500, CCSP, CISSP, AWS Security Specialty· Experience with container security (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).· Experience with data loss prevention (DLP), secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC), and vulnerability management in the cloud.· Familiarity with enterprise governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) tools.About Us : Zapcom is a global Product Engineering and Technology Services company, specializing in bespoke, customer-centric solutions across industries like BFSI, e-commerce, retail, travel, transportation, and hospitality.
