Role
The VP of Product at Vision+ will lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring all product initiatives align with the company's objectives and foster growth in innovative payment solutions. This senior leadership role requires extensive experience in defining product strategy, a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and technology advancements, including Web3, blockchain, and cryptocurrency to maintain Vision+’s competitive edge and deliver exceptional product experiences.
b. Reporting Line
Reports directly to the Group Chief Information Officer (CIO).
c. Work relations
Collaborates closely with executive leadership, cross-functional teams, including engineering, business development , marketing, and customer success, and external stakeholders. The role requires translating business strategies into product innovations that drive Vision+'s growth and market positioning.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Define and lead a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap to support Vision+’s business objectives and growth targets.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align product vision with the overall company strategy and market positioning.
• Lead the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring a customer-centric approach that meets market demands.
• Manage and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a high-performance culture that prioritizes innovation and excellence.
• Work closely with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and innovative payment solutions.
• Analyze market trends, including Web3, blockchain, and crypto, to identify opportunities for new product features and enhancements.
• Establish and track key product metrics to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
• Integrate cutting-edge technologies, including AI, blockchain, and advanced data analytics, into the product roadmap.
• Ensure that all product initiatives comply with regulatory standards and align with Vision+'s commitment to security and privacy.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with partners and stakeholders to support product development and market expansion.
Job Requirements
Education
a. Essential
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Product Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in product management and product lifecycle strategies.
b. Desirable
• Advanced degree (Master’s or MBA) with a focus on Product Management or Business Strategy.
Language
a. Essential
Proficiency in English.
Experience
a. Essential
• 15+ years of experience in product management or a similar leadership role, ideally within the fintech or payment industry.
• Proven track record in defining and managing successful product strategies and roadmaps.
• Demonstrated success in launching innovative products and driving product adoption.
• Significant experience leading cross-functional product teams.
• Previous experience in Web3, blockchain, and cryptocurrency products and solutions is a must.
• Portfolio of previous projects in similar roles, showcasing experience with blockchain, crypto, and Web3 technologies.
b. Desirable
• Experience with AI, machine learning, and other advanced technologies.
• International exposure and experience working with global teams.
