Role Description:
This is a full-time remote role for a Machine Learning Engineer at Predixtions Inc. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning / deep learning, data analysis, and software development. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models and generative AI applications that solve real-world problems and drive business value. This role requires expertise in Python, SQL, machine learning and deep learning frameworks, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Model Development and Deployment
• Design, build, and train machine learning models to tackle complex business challenges.
• Deploy and monitor models in production, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
2. Data Preparation and Analysis
• Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to derive insights and support effective feature engineering.
3. Algorithm Selection and Optimization
• Evaluate various algorithms and select the most suitable ones for specific applications.
• Optimize models for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
4. Software Development and Integration
• Write robust, reusable, and scalable code for integrating machine learning models into production systems.
• Partner with software engineers to ensure seamless deployment and system integration.
5. Collaboration and Communication
• Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Effectively communicate findings and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
6. Continuous Improvement
• Stay abreast of emerging trends, tools, and research in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
• Innovate by experimenting with new techniques to improve processes and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Strong expertise in SQL for efficient data querying and management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of machine learning algorithms, frameworks, and deployment strategies.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 4+ years of practical experience in machine learning, data science, or similar roles.
Additional Skills
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms for deploying AI applications.
• Ability to stay updated with the latest advancements in AI technologies and implement them effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality.
• Self-driven, with the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams.
