Job Description:
The Junior Business Development Manager will be responsible for overseeing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the successful delivery of IT services. This role requires a strong understanding of IT solutions and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with IT vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery and support.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and service agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor vendor performance against agreed-upon service levels and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or disputes with vendors promptly and effectively.
Cost Management: Analyze vendor costs and ensure services are delivered within budget. Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize vendor spending.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve vendor management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on vendor performance, contract status, and other relevant metrics for internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role in the IT industry.
Strong knowledge of IT solutions and services, including software, hardware, and cloud-based solutions.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple vendors and projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in vendor management software and tools is a plus.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Business Development Manageror a similar role.
