Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement validation and verification plans for automotive systems using CAN, OTA, FOTA, and UDS protocols.
  • Conduct thorough testing of automotive electronic control units (ECUs) to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Identify, isolate, and document defects found during testing and guide teams in resolution efforts.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to integrate testing into the development lifecycle.
  • Analyse test results to provide insights and recommendations for improvements to product quality and performance.
  • Maintain testing documentation and ensure proper traceability of requirements throughout the verification process.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in automotive technologies and testing methodologies to enhance testing processes.


Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.


Required Skills

  • Proven experience in verification and validation of automotive systems, particularly in CAN, OTA, FOTA, and UDS.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive standards such as ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, and ASPICE.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools for embedded systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or similar for test automation.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
