Job Description: AI Security & Compliance Engineer

Position: AI Security & Compliance Engineer

Experience Required: 6–8 Years

Location: Noida, India

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AI Security & Compliance Engineer to ensure the security,

governance, and regulatory compliance of AI/ML systems and agentic workflows. The ideal

candidate will have strong expertise in AI model security, data protection, compliance

frameworks, and responsible AI practices, with hands-on experience implementing policies,

controls, and monitoring systems for enterprise-grade AI solutions.

This role combines security engineering, compliance oversight, and AI/ML governance, making it

central to building trustworthy, secure, and ethical AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement security controls for AI/ML systems, including LLMs, data pipelines,

and agent orchestration layers.

• Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing specific to

AI/ML models and data.

• Ensure compliance with global regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, AI Act, NIST

AI RMF).

• Establish responsible AI practices covering bias, fairness, explainability, and governance.

• Work with data engineers and MLOps teams to secure training data, model artifacts, and

APIs.

• Implement monitoring and anomaly detection for model drift, adversarial attacks, and data

poisoning.

• Define and manage access control policies, identity management, and data

encryption for AI systems.

• Collaborate with legal, risk, and compliance teams to align AI usage with regulatory

standards.

• Conduct audits and security reviews for AI systems before deployment.

• Document and enforce policies, standards, and best practices for AI security and

compliance.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–8 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, compliance, or AI/ML security

engineering.

• Strong knowledge of AI/ML pipelines, LLMs, and MLOps practices.

• Hands-on with security tools (SIEM, vulnerability scanners, SAST/DAST, model security

frameworks).

• Proficiency in Python or scripting languages for automation and security checks.

• Strong understanding of data privacy, encryption, IAM, and key management.

• Experience in compliance audits and certifications (SOC2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR).

• Familiarity with AI risks: model inversion, adversarial attacks, prompt injection, data leakage.

• Knowledge of cloud-native security (AWS, Azure, GCP) for AI/ML environments.

• Strong communication skills to work across engineering, compliance, and executive

teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI security frameworks (MITRE ATLAS, NIST AI RMF, OWASP for LLMs).

• Exposure to federated learning, differential privacy, and secure multiparty computation

(SMPC).

• Familiarity with vector database security and knowledge graph governance.

• Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or AI ethics/security certifications.

• Contributions to AI security research or open-source initiatives.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, AI/ML, or related

field.
