The Manager will oversee engagements and a team of staff involved in the valuation and advisory of real estate and real estate entities. In addition to leadership responsibilities, the Manager will efficiently execute projects and serve as the primary point of contact for onshore Real Estate Advisory management.


Primary Duties


Lead and execute financial modelling assignments and appraisals of real property for various purposes

Conduct valuations of real property and personal property for financial reporting purposes

Manage the audit assist process and review third-party valuations of real estate assets, providing review commentary

Execute projects as needed, ensuring timely and accurate completion

Potentially assist in hiring of local resources


Key Responsibilities


Manage, lead, and grow a local team while serving as the primary point of contact for onshore Real Estate Advisory management, ensuring effective communication and coordination

Utilize various valuation methodologies, such as the Income approach (direct capitalization and discounted cash flow methods), the Sales Comparison approach, and the Cost approach, to assess property values

Provide detailed financial analysis to support valuation and advisory services

Conduct economic, market, and property-level research, specifically gathering and interpreting data relevant to various real estate markets and property types

Develop, modify, and verify Excel valuation models to ensure accuracy and reliability

Develop narrative and summary format reports for client deliverables

Thrive in a fast-paced, project-based environment, including the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines while maintaining high-quality work

Demonstrate excellent team skills, a positive attitude, and high ethical standards to foster a collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and integrity


Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree in real estate finance, economics, business, accounting, or a related field

5+ years of experience in real estate valuation/consulting, asset/portfolio management, real estate finance, or real estate development with a preference for candidates who have experience leading teams

Proficiency in financial modelling, with strong knowledge and experience

Proficiency in Argus

Experience working in United States markets and across various asset classes

Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to recognize financial issues through review of financial statements

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors and co-workers

Self-starter with the drive and resourcefulness to work independently and collaboratively toward common company goals

Demonstrates confidence in functional skills and the ability to apply those skills in a multi-task, cross-functional team setting

Ability to work in an evolving, team-oriented environment, and accept new challenges as assigned

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
