We are backed by strong research, world-class advisory experts, and multiple recognitions including the Aegis Graham Bell Award, National Startup Award.We are now expanding our engineering team and are looking for an exceptionally strong Python Lead Developer to help build the next generation of AI-driven platforms and products.Role OverviewAs a Python Lead Developer, you will lead backend and platform development for our AI products. You'll architect scalable systems, mentor developers, and work closely with our AI/ML, product, and chip engineering teams to build high-performance pipelines, services, and tooling.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, scaling systems from scratch, and working with cutting-edge AI technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical LeadershipLead and mentor a team of Python developers; drive coding standards, best practices, and architecture decisions.Own end-to-end design and development of backend systems, APIs, microservices, and platform components.Work closely with AI/ML teams to integrate models (ASR, LLMs, VLMs, RAG, Agents, etc.) into production systems.Architecture & DevelopmentArchitect scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services.Build data pipelines, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and DevOps best practices.Performance & ReliabilityOptimize performance, latency, memory usage, and system reliability.Ensure high availability, observability, and fault tolerance across services.CollaborationWork with cross-functional teams including AI researchers, frontend developers, DevOps, and product managers.Participate in roadmap discussions and strategic engineering decisions.Required Skills & ExperienceCore Technical Requirements8–10+ years of experience in Python with strong expertise in frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.Strong hands-on experience in:Building scalable microservices and REST APIs.Designing asynchronous applications using AsyncIO, Celery, RabbitMQ/Kafka.Working with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).Writing production-grade code with clean architecture principles.Additional Technical ExposureExperience with AI/ML pipelines, RAG systems, vector databases, or model integration is a plus.Strong understanding of:Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, RedisCI/CD: GitHub Actions / GitLab CIContainers: Docker, KubernetesSoft SkillsStrong leadership and mentoring abilities.Excellent problem-solving and system design skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.Strong communication and documentation skills.Preferred (Good to Have)Experience deploying AI workloads into production.Familiarity with GPU/edge computing, optimization, or inference pipelines.Contributions to open-source projects.Knowledge of distributed computing, streaming systems, or event-driven architectures.What We OfferWork on cutting-edge Generative AI and Edge AI products impacting global industries.Opportunity to collaborate with leading AI researchers and architects.Fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.ESOPs for high-performing candidates.A culture that values creativity, ownership, and excellence.How to ApplyIf you're passionate about engineering world-class systems and want to build transformative AI platforms, we'd love to hear from you.Please send your resume to people@sandlogic.com
