The role involves leading complex projects and mentoring team members using advanced engineering expertise.How you'll make an impactLead initiatives and establish methods to maximize utilization of production facilities, equipment, and workforce.Drive facility layout planning and design to enhance operational flow and productivity.Conduct time studies, cycle time analysis, and line balancing to enhance the process efficiencyImplement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement strategies.Analyze cycle times and remove production bottlenecks.Apply value stream mapping and other industrial engineering tools to optimize processes.Perform line balancing for optimal workload distribution.Design and deploy jigs, fixtures and tools to boost safety and efficiency.Improve ergonomics and human factors across workstations and production linesWork and implement process automation and AI solution for mistake proofing.Manage end-to-end vendor processes from selection to payment.Work hands-on with SAP (preferably S/4HANA).
