Job Description

Lead and manage the entire engineering team, including project engineers, design engineers, and field engineers. Develop and implement the company's engineering strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Oversee all aspects of the engineering lifecycle for renewable energy projects, from feasibility studies and permitting to construction, commissioning, and operations. Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Champion innovation and identify new technologies and solutions to optimize project performance and efficiency. Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering standards, codes, and environmental regulations. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (, construction, operations, finance) and external partners (, contractors, suppliers). Foster a collaborative and high-performing engineering team environment, providing mentorship and development opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

14+ years of experience in engineering, preferably within the renewable energy sector. Strong academic background in engineering or environmental science (Masters degree preferred). Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams. Demonstrated success in developing, constructing, and operating solar energy projects in the USA. Strong understanding of relevant engineering principles, construction practices, and environmental regulations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into actionable engineering plans. Proficient in project management methodologies and engineering software.
