Backend Software EngineerOur organization is seeking an experienced Backend Software Engineer to develop the core infrastructure of our AI system. As a Founding member, you will design and implement the data layer that determines how our system interacts with the world.Your primary responsibility will be to architect the data model that standardizes input from various sources into a unified schema. This includes:Standardizing Data Schemas: Design and maintain canonical data models that normalize conflicting metrics across disparate sources.Building Deep 1P Data Integrations: Construct pipelines to ingest high-fidelity signals directly from enterprise data warehouses.Integrating Unstructured Data & LLMs: Build workflows that process multimodal data from ad libraries and social platforms using Large Language Models (LLMs).You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.Skills and Qualifications:A Systems Thinker: 4+ years of experience building high-throughput backend systems in Python, Go or Java. Experience with system design and data integrity.High Agency: Autonomous problem-solving skills with ability to diagnose and fix issues without supervision.Data Polyglot: Comfortable working with SQL, NoSQL, and message queues.
