Reporting Manager: Promoter of Can Image Media Tech

Experience Required:

  • Over 15 years of experience in managing and scaling organizations across multiple domains, with extensive experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience should include managing a workforce of over 200 people and production valued at above 100 crore INR.
  • Should have experience in multiple plant handling
  • We expect more stability in career where minimum 5 years in latest company.

Education Requirement: B.E or B. Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or Chemical Engineering. A postgraduate degree in Business Management (MBA) is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Industry/Sectoral Experience: Manufacturing, preferably in the printing and advertising industry or related sectors such as signage and large-format printing. Experience in managing teams and optimizing production processes is crucial.

Responsibilities:

  • Production Workflow Optimization: Continuously review and optimize the entire production workflow, from managing raw materials and monitoring printing, coating and packaging processes.
  • Unit Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple units
  • Order and Inventory Management: Efficiently managing orders and maintaining appropriate inventory levels to meet production demands
  • Quality Control: Implement strict quality control measures to ensure prints meet the highest standards, including inspecting and approving test prints and maintaining consistent quality.
  • Internal Communication: Collaborate with the Operations team to understand client needs, coordinate product timelines, and resolve any client issues or concerns.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a large product team
  • Budgeting: Management of all budgets of factory operations
  • Creative Management: Oversee creative management and sample approval management processes in coordination with clients
  • Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with industry standards including ISO certification, statutory regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Maintenance management and troubleshooting
  • Digital Transformation: Drive digital transformation initiatives in the factory by implementing technology solutions that streamline and improve manufacturing processes
  • Environmental Consciousness: Apply sustainable practices in the production process, including reducing waste, optimizing energy use and using environmentally friendly materials.
  • Setting up of state-of-the-art factory in Silvassa: Lead the establishment and management of the new manufacturing plant in Silvassa.

Required Skills:

  • Proven work experience in factory management and proven managerial experience
  • Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources).
  • Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise.
  • Knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, demand generation, inventory and stewardship processes.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Experience handling multiple units or subunits is preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations.
  • Compliance and administration of Factories Act and Pollution Control Department
  • Proficiency in managing and maintaining factory equipment
  • Experience making strategic decisions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders and customers
  • Strong presentation skills for reporting factory performance and results
  • Strong team building, decision making and people management skills with demonstrated ability to take responsibility and lead by example
  • Language Proficiency:
  • Fluency in Hindi (spoken) and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
  • Preferred Languages: Marathi and/or any other regional language.

Summary:

As the Factory/Plant Head at Can Image Media Tech, you will oversee and manage the entire manufacturing process of outdoor advertising prints. This involves optimizing production workflows, managing raw materials, enforcing quality control, coordinating with clients, and leading a large production team.

Additionally, you will play a vital role in driving digital transformation initiatives to improve process efficiency and sustainability. Your leadership in upholding the organization's commitment to environmentally conscious solutions is critical to CIMT's mission.

You will report directly to the Promoter of Can Image Media Tech and work collaboratively with other senior profiles to ensure the company's continued success in the outdoor advertising industry. Your industry expertise and leadership are pivotal for achieving the company's mission and strategic goals.
